Pappy's Cabin
A Quiet, Cozy, Private Ozark Getaway
This cabin was built with reclaimed materials for the most part. From Pappy (and Mammy) rescuing the freshly cut pine logs from several piles that were about to be burned after a pine thicket had been cleared, to using materials accumulated through the years from Pappy’s many projects. After working the logs into beams and lumber (with his own sawmill) Pappy’s oldest son helped place them to construct the cabin. Pappy’s youngest son provided all of the rocks. Rocks that were being left behind in a field. Once, completed Pappy’s daughter helped with the finishing touches. A family affair!
